My experience at the CICC RS Macro team mainly focused on economic analysis of industrial sectors. With the help of my mentor, 1️⃣I calculated and evaluated the structure and future development trends of China's electricity consumption. Breaking down the electricity consumption gave me an intuitive sense of the appeal of combining economics with industries. Additionally, I independently completed some other projects, such as 2️⃣using the PMI employment index as a leading indicator for various industries; discussing 3️⃣potential paths to boosting China's economy, etc.
